Local Housing Lourizela

The principle of this project lies in the rehabilitation of the ruins of an old rural habitation for local housing.
In the interior of the stone structure is divided in two bedrooms and bathrooms. To this construction it was added a new one with half a story, taking advantage of the terrain’s terraces, with the “public” part of the house.
Enjoying the sight of Rio Vouga, the new block is permeable from the main elevations to improve the sights.
In terms of architectonic language, the natural stone was kept from the ruins, adding wood through the new part of the building.
